Default 2004 ez go pds no click

Hi I it a ez go pds that I can't get the solenoid to click, there is power to reed switch, it has ground at blue wire on solenoid, but no power on the yellow wire,on the key switch it measures 37 v only when you put positive lead on battery pack positive and the black lead to the white wires of the key switch idk if that's normal or not, also the reed switch seems that is has been bypassed so it's just a red wire connected to the plug.to be sure I'm testing the yellow wire right I'm putting - lead to the battery pack negative and positive to the yellow wire and I get 198 mv , which is nothing lol , any help appreciated

You must have power to the red wire after the reed switch. Try this reed switch bypass.
If it works beware the cart will run when charging ! Run the charge cord through the steering wheel before plugging in to avoid accidental driving with charger plugged in.

It is already like that, there is no reed switch and there is a red wire connected to the screw then connects to the red wire going to controller

Connect the negative test lead to the main negative terminal on battery pack.

Check for full battery pack voltage (38.2V when fully charged) on J1 Pins 4 and 5.
Voltage to Pin-4 comes from reed switch or other source if bypassed. Pin-4 supplies B+ to controller electronics.
Voltage to Pin-5 comes from the battery side large terminal on solenoid and goes through a "Sonic" weld in wiring harness. Pin-5 supplies B+ to external switches (Key, Pedal & F/R) and solenoid coil.

--------
To get solenoid to click, you have to have B+ on all wires highlighted in red and attached schematic.

Check for full battery pack voltage on the rest of the pins with red highlighted wires attached to them.

If they all check out, the controller is bad.

There is power coming in and nothing going out. The controller is dead. Replace with Alltrax XCT48400 and SW180 HD solenoid for best results.
