Default Solid state conversion on 87 ezgo

I am really considering one of scottyb conversion kits. All wiring is 2ga now and was thinking of replacing all the old resistor stuff and wiper board and switch and all that stuff for my winter project. But this conversion seems to be a smarter move. What all will I need to replace after ordering kit

The Ezgo kit is really sweet with a central mounting bucket for the controller, solenoid and DC reducer too.
Mid 1987 was the model change year for motor location. Is the motor in this cart perpendicular or parallel to the rear axles?

Good news, that is the late model. Our kit will fit nicely

Can I buy just one of those mounting brackets? That's exactly what I need!

It's not available by itself, it's part of a kit.

So it looks about as simple as pulling out the resistors old solenoid and go pedal and the wiper switch board and hooking up the new gear
