And I stand corrected as well. I guess I was under the idea that the battery amp draw would be somewhat "linear" with it's rating. The lithium carts I have built have a inductive amp meter setup built in. They never showed a draw from the pack any where near 500a (never even made the factory rating draw from the pack). I guess the factory profile is just "that weak". I will always be willing to learn, and being proven wrong is part of that. The rxv stock 6g cables do run warm (especially how I treat them),. And a cable Upgrade would not hurt at all.

You're not wrong, the factory drive profile IS that weak! 3 phase can be so much more efficient at producing torque for the amount of power consumed that they can get away with it. When comparing apples to oranges, it's hard to get a direct numerical comparison. Power factor becomes a greater contributor than in split phase systems. This is one of the reasons that some larger farms have gone through the trouble of installing phase converters in locations where 3 phase power is not available. And despite the losses of conversion, their utility bills have been lowered by replacing their split phase equipment with more efficient 3 phase equipment.

Yep, 3 phase motors are cheaper, more flexible, and dont need and capacitors or start windings, and can be wired CW or CCW very easily!
