Default Opinions on upgrades

Since the cart is only 36v and I need all the run time I can get for whipping Disney's Ft. Wilderness, lifting the cart isn't an option because i'm not ready to 48v. So i'm looking to upgrade from the 215/40 street tires to these

20x10 all terrain tires

I'm also looking for mech-less head unit and speakers nothing fancy

Dual bluetooth headunit

6.5" speakers

And to add better headlights

headlights

Also heavy duty rear springs to support added passengers

Heavy duty rear springs

Headlights and turn signals are a must but to be honest I never use mine since I installed an Auxbeam 20 inch led bar.

I like the cut in lights, i used a dremel type tool to cut the body (also kept a sliver at bottom of the lights for more support, someone on here recommended). I and a lot of people have recommended the dual action springs, not too hard when empty, has a helper spring when needed. Sponsor Golf cart King has them.

I'd go for a total LED lighting system rather than halogen headlights.

Halogen headlights typically use 55W bulbs, so there will be a 110W draw on the 12V system. LED headlights won't draw anywhere near that much.

What Johnnie said.

My tail lights are LED and 1.5 watt per side. My headlights are 6 high intensity LEDs that I made into my own headlight before light bars were common. They "say" they are 9 watts each, but I doubt they are half that, so call it 4W each. So for headlights and taillights I pull 27 watts total, give or take.

Thanks guys. Didn't realize I clicked on halogen headlights, just picked a random one to describe the idea and cart already has the turn signal/brake light kit but the previous owner didn't upgrade to the cut in headlights. I've installed them before on previous carts and they make a huge difference in looks and function.

I'll check on the dual action springs. Anyone have any experience with speaker pods?

I did that same exact light kit on my 36v txt. It's a very nice kit. Works very well! Pretty simple installation.

I looked at the speaker pods, but I didn't like how they would look and they'd be right near the heads of the people on the rear seat. I opted for a triangular speaker box for my 6.5"s between the two seat backs.

and from the side:

I think the cut in LED headlights are available now too.
