Download "Danaher RXV troubleshooting guide". It has many electrical tests for you, and wire diagram.

If you have a Danaher controller you want to buy a 36v solenoid. I know doesn't sound right but the Danaher controllers takes a 36v solenoid.

With the key on, there should be 48V on one small terminal (with yellow wire) and 12V to 18V on the other small terminal. If you have 48V on both small terminals, that means that your controller is not turning the solenoid on. The RXV is unlike other carts, it is computerized. Don't hook the other small terminal to battery pack - or you can destroy your controller. It does not supply pack -, it supplies a regulated voltage that is 36V below pack + to turn it on and about 28V below pack + to hold it on to eliminate overheating of the 36V solenoid operating from a 48V pack..

Yea, the yellow is input side of the keyswitch, connected to battery pack + at the solenoid. Comes out red. Black goes to controller solenoid -
