Sergio, I don't think I am going to go this route but for others that come across this thread, do you have a recommend relay to use and how you would wire it in?

Sure, here is a link to a post where I did a diagram and a link to the relay.

If You are going with the Summit, just make sure You order the charger configured for onboard with the correct ring terminal cables.

Any recommendation on where to get it from along with the bypass?

Bypass for what? The OBC? All you need for that is a couple of crimp connectors.

If you want a pre-made harness for the Summit ScottyB sells them on his site: https://www.cartsunlimited.net/lester-summit-ii.html

Actually I meant the battery pack cord for the direct connection from the charger.
Thanks on the site. I was actually just looking at his site. Was surprised to see the 1050W for just $20 more.

The option on Scottyb site is called "Add on On Board cord", it is below the charger selection where you add the DC cord.

I know this is an old thread, but I have a very similar question, which FairTax4Me answered about the charger amperage, but now my question is related to the size of the battery pack in relation to the chargers.

I have a 36V '94 CC 6 Seater that I'm upgrading to 48V. I currently have 6-6V Trojan T-105 Motives, and will be adding two more to get to 48V.

I'm not sure which aH numbers on the batteries you are referring to. The 20 Hr is 225. So, based on 8-6V T-105 Trojans, should I get a 1,050W charger or would the Lester Summit II 36V-48V / 30600E05AKBS00B2 / 30600, work for me? That was what has been recommended to me, but then I saw this. So, should I get the Summit II 1050W charger? I believe I have room for either. It's just used in my neighborhood, but is rather hilly, thus the 48V and high torque motor. Thanks

Yep, There will be a lot of links that don't work anymore because we just switched servers.

The image Sergio referenced is about halfway down the page here:
