Default Cutting in light kit

I am going to be installing a factory light kit on my 2002 EZGO in the next couple of days, could someone please tell me what the best tool it to use to cut the plastic body with.

I use a Mcculloh chain saw cause I like the effect. No but I usually use a jigsaw cause you have more control and i use an aggressive blade,but you dont have to since you probably have one anyway.Just draw it out and take your time and it will work out perfectly.

rotozip is good as well asthe dremmel. i have a dremmel and it does the job.besides they are pretty cheap right now and endless attachmentswhatever you do be careful

When using a dremmel, what tip and speed do you use? doesn't it have a tendancy to melt the plastic?

I marked mine with the template, drilled a 1/2 inch hole in each corner and than cut it out with a saber saw with a fine tooth blade. I cut it a bit smaller than finished it to fit with a file. It turned out great!
