G9 wiring problem
Hi, I bought a G9 afew years ago and stript it down for a reno. The wiring was a mess so i ripped it out and rewired it to the diagram on the Yamaha web site. How ever it will not even turn-over, I have replaced the igniter, ignition coil, polsar coil and voltage reg. tested the soliniod all ok. I showed the diagram to an electrition and they couldn't see how the r/w wire from pedal switch got back to the r/w pole on the soliniod. I found another wiring diagram on the net which had a r/w wire going to the r/w pole and it will run. But new ingiter gets very hot around wires going into resin. Any help please, thanks.
