Brake hung up....
I have an 09 RXV. The girlfriend was out for a nice ride the other day and I looked up and they were walking back.... "Battery dead" (no way just charged)
Go to tow cart back and when I mashed the pedal I could tell it was not battery, it would move but it was restricted. i.e. brake hung up. Buddy gave me a push and the brake released. Any advise of a pending problem or does this just happen?? Would throwing the "tow" switch make it release if it does it again?? |

Re: Brake hung up....
I understand they will do that in low voltage situations but there is also a long thread on here someplace about this being a defect, and possible fix. Do a search for RXV brake problem.

Re: Brake hung up....
Thanks so much Scottyb!!!! Very interesting that when I call EZGo they are clueless about any problem..... I guess being a private owner they will just let me muddle thru and figure it out on my own.
I found the thread and I use mine on a very hilly application, N Georgia mountains. Sounds like a solenoid hunt for me. Do you guys have them? Thanks again for the reply! Very helpful stuff! |
