Default Cushman ??

I purchased a Cushman 48 volt utility cart last weekend and I am not having much luck trying to identify the year or find a wiring diagram. Tag has a serial number of 642 789 and a model number of 898370 B. Funny part is the tag says 36 volts and the motor says 36/48 volts. Battery charger is 48 volt and no batteries. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks........ Terry

Thanks.... I was reading the history from http://www.vintagegolfcartparts.com/ as you suggested and according to them Cushman was taken over by E-Z-GO. So, I started to look at the E-Z-GO wiring diagrams. The '94 with Curtis controller looks to be pretty close. I will be gone to AZ for the next week and when I get back I will make a wire for wire examination/comparison. In the mean time, thanks for the help. Both were good hints......Terry

Just for general info I am pretty sure it was surplus from Boeing as I purchased it from an Aviation repair shop on Paine Field just south of the Boeing Everett plant where the 767 and 747 are built. If you ever get up this way be sure to go on the guided tour thru the plant. Over one square mile under one roof......Terry
