Re: Igniter location on 1995 late model
Do you have a part number for the coil you ordered?

This is the one i ordered. Direct fit and looks identical. The cart runs no different with this new coil compared to the old one.

Re: Igniter location on 1995 late model
That number matches up to the old style coil. So that may be the problem after all.
Do you see one of these stuck on a bolt somewhere on the engine? It needs to be there to get proper spark from that coil. |

Re: Igniter location on 1995 late model
I'm surprised no one mentioned a possible failing Rev Limiter...
It's a simple thing to do to narrow down the possibilities. |

No. Once that brown wire is cut, the limiter is out of the equation.

Mkay... the Limiter's been mentioned, and not the problem.

Re: Igniter location on 1995 late model
So i had another really good look and traced all the wires etc. All looked good but the old owner obviously moved the RPM module to where the newer models were and the igniter was still attached underneath it!!! I’ll order a new igniter and this HAS to fix it as i have replaced everything else HaHa Thanks for everyone’s help and input!
