I would recommend not to fire it up!
You put in oil and the compression did not go up. It should have. Poor in more oil enough to flood the rings and check it again. Then spin it over a bunch to clear it and check a 2nd time. If it is still at 90. You have an issue. The oil should have upped the compression when flooded and kept it higher then 90 after clearing it. I have seen many people build an engine and break a ring and not even know it. Also seen bad head gaskets and ones that are way to thick. Warped heads as well. Edit Missed it was already back together. I would want to pull it and check it. |
