Oh, that may very well be possible.
A DC solenoid will only pull in one direction, But, they can be mechanically built so that no matter which way you power the solenoid, the contacts will close. I'm not sure how these things are built. But, I believe it. Thanks, Todd |

If they have a coil it makes a magnetic field in either polarity. My solenoid has a red wire on the rear terminal as installed in the cart, and black on the front one closer to the seat hinge in my G9.
