Default Badboy Buggy Classic ITS wiring.

I have a 2006 Badboy classic with a fresh rebuilt Navitas FSP controller. I acquired it after someone cut the ITS and micro switch wiring . I have found several wiring diagrams on the forum but don't see the correct schematic or I don't comprehend how to wire in the ITS with the three wires on it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is that one of those ITS coils with the two trimmer pots? Since it has 3 wires out it likely has a conditioning circuit in it to output 0-5V. Your red wire, since it has a splice is likely needs to go to B+ and the pedal switch. The other two will be signal out and ground. So I would check the wires on the cart and see where each goes, red is likely B+ through key or tow/run. White is probably B- and green signal input to the control. Match the reds up on the ITS then try the yellow blue to the remaining wires, if it doesn't work switch those two. I would think the yellow is more likely to be ground than blue.

I will try it tomorrow. I bought the cart after being stolen. The wires were cut and that is the sensor that was with the cart when I got it. I wish someone had a picture of the whole set up to make sure this is the correct sensor. It does have the two trim pots.

I have this thing, which I found inside a throttle box of a Tomberlin. The setup looked identical to what you have there with the exception that the ITS coil was the same as an EZGO but it was plugged into this board.

This is likely the precursor to the ones with the built in pots.

That looks like it. I wonder if this is even the right ITS for this cart or is it something someone was trying to put on it. I'm looking locally to see if I can find a some one who has a classic so I can look at it for myself. Thanks for your reply.

Found a guy who had a classic locally and he was gracious enough to let me look at his. The ITS I had wasn't the right one. Replaced with the correct ITS and buggy is fixed. Thanks.

Willis,
Where did you find the new ITS switch for your BBB Classic? I'm having a hard time finding any kind of BBB parts for mine.

I got one from amazon for around $20~30. It says its for ezgo but it's worked with that circuit I posted above to provide a 0-5v output.

Thanks, MJ. I didn't know about one of those, but it could be part of the problem. Have you ever replaced your controller?
