G2 had heat issues, some came with full skid plates and everything and closed them up too much. G9 you can look right out the bottom everywhere.

Mike that is exactly the cover I was talking about..you can see where the foam was glued in all around the outside edge. It's safe to say from your comment and Ron foam is history. I took the remaining plastic off around the head and cylinder to clean up the plastic...WOW the crap that was imbedded in the fins, area's were completely plugged and blocked off. I don't know where people before me rode this cart, but I'm glad I took the time to take it apart.

I would remove that panel.

And you already know to clean up the fins immaculate!! And make dang sure the valve cover gasket is not leaking!!

Fins look 100x better than they did last night..lots of compressed air, along with purple power degrease and a scrub brush...rinse and repeat process. New valve cover gasket in route..
