I reattached my RPM limiter ground wire and it didn't make a difference.
The cart still has a pedal sweet spot to start it, warm or cold.
We must be the only three people on earth that this has happened to.

Really, no had had this issue but us three?
Can someone familiar with the electrical system give us a clue where to look?

Springbok,
Thanks for the Wiring diagram.
Best I understand the components that could cause the issue were experiencing are the limit switch in the black box(labeled Limit switch 1), the other limit switch which has the lime green wire from limit switch 1, and maybe the starter/generator although I doubt it since this seems to be an on/off component.
I'm not sure how the system works so i can't properly diagnose the issue.
Can anybody explain the starting system so i can understand and get to the bottom of this?

Have you tried the old "screwdriver across the two big posts of the solenoid" trick to bypass all the limit switches? If it starts turning over right away then that would rule out your starter/gen. Just make sure your key is on when you do it.

Been on vacation and work travel. Not familiar with the "screwdriver across the two big posts of the solenoid". If i understand that would bypass all the switches in a no start condition. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Ours all work in a certain location "the pedal sweet spot" and not when just mashed to the floor.
Thanks

Maybe I read you wrong, I thought you had expressed concern that your starter/gen may be at fault. Maybe you didn't.

My guess is that you'll probably need to test your limit switches individually to see which one is sticky/malfunctioning. That's where I would start. I would start bypassing them one by one to try and isolate the issue. You'll want to focus on the limit switches that are activated by pedal travel, which should be in the little black box with the lid that comes off.

I have a 96 with the same problem only it is an intermittant issue - I assume the wiring and micro switches are the same as the 92 drawing? Which is great by the way
