Club Car Carryall-Hydraulic Lift Replacement???
Has anyone replaced their 12v hydraulic lift and arm on their CC Carryall dump bed?
I am trying to find the cheapest option for replacement. Where to start looking? |

Look up Linear Actuators,They are a 12v Screw-Drive lift actuator, which is likely what you have already.Check Northern Tool,Surplus Outlet,or even Ebay.Measure your shaft-diameter,pin-diameters,then the collapsed and extended pin-center dimensions(if its dead, you will have to unpin one end,and manually raise the bed to measure.

Re: Club Car Carryall-Hydraulic Lift Replacement???
I looked & waited & looked, finally, an eBay listing for a Warner actuator w/ an 8" stroke and a 2200lb. capacity showed up, brand new and just over $150. (MSRP +$700!)
My Turf1 didn't come with the lift cylinder so the effort to build a bracketry set and reinforce the bed frame to take advantage of the exceptional characteristics was a tall order. Almost done now, working on the switching and related wiring, but the photos I'll post will show this to be a first rate job. Use the eBay automatic search and notification function(s) and you can find many actuators to shop among as they are listed. The Warner units (K2x series ball screw type) are the very best going! |

What is wrong with your original part?
And what brand/model is it? Fixing the existing mechanism might be your BEST alternative. |

After some searching I found the OilDyne 108/118....on the bay for $200...it looks like a match to me but I am not certain . The link to the ebay listing is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FREE-SHIPPI...kAAOSwheNbM7NZ Anybody think this is a match? It looks spot on to me. The only thing I kept on the cart was just the arm itself just as I guide when I have to lift it up manually. I remember tossing the hydraulic unit and hoses and everything when I redid the cart. But anyway here's the pics I found of when I redid the cart. |

Re: Club Car Carryall-Hydraulic Lift Replacement???
Interested in these as well. I have an older carryall with the factory hydraulic setup. The cylinder seals blew out and I just don't see paying $800 for a new cylinder from club car. So far I've been unable to find a rebuild kit anywhere except for a "Local" (2 hours away) Hydraulic repair shop quoted me $300 to rebuild it. Would be another $100 if they have to re-chrome the shaft.
Electric actuator seems like the way to go. |

Re: Club Car Carryall-Hydraulic Lift Replacement???
That is a Parker electric pump (U.S. made).
I'll need to look at the assembly on my Mule to get the manufacturer's numbers for you. Is the pump problematic? From the photos your cylinder looks viable. These setups using reversing polarity lift wiring can utilize relays -or- the cheap method is to use a DPDT switch cobbled up to do it. Hard to imagine that the hydraulics are the problem. |
