What's causing the surging? 2018 Precedent
Any idea what's causing this surging? I am flooring it from the beginning of the video.
2018 CCPR Subaru Fresh oil, spark plug, both belts, air filter. Did it before as well. Stops surging when it warms up. Temperature sensor seems to be working. Starter generator sounds a little rough. Does it do that when driving?
Usually surging is a misadjustment of the throttle cable or governor. How is it rough when accelerating? Vibrating/shaking? Excessively noisy/loud? |

Yes. It does it while driving. I've tried to adjust the throttle cable under the floor pan to no avail. Quite a bit of vibration. Much more than normal when accelerating. rattles steering wheel and anything loose. Smooths out while coasting.
