Drive clutch questions
I am wondering if anyone could shed some more light on this subject. Primary drive clutches are expensive, and I have some old Kawasaki FE 350 primary clutches laying around. I know the rotation of the clutches on Kawasaki is clockwise and the Subaru in counter clockwise. I don’t know enough yet about if the rotation of the clutch is specific for the engine. I was wondering if you could throw a Kawasaki clutch on a Subaru engine and it be alright or does the rotation of the output shaft matter when turning the clutch. Any kind of info is helpful, due to the fact there is minimal on the new Subaru engines. Thank you in advance. Dyson.

Re: Drive clutch questions
The drive clutches are non-directional, just fit the pulley from your old clutch onto the new one and you should be ok.
