I did try a spare controller but I got the same result. I was not a known good controller so it didn't really tell me anything.

I replaced the controller with a known good controller from another cart. The 5V sensor voltage is now alive from PIN 3 on the controller. The cart still will not pass the power on test. When I measure the sensor voltage per the guide I get right at 5V on the sensor wire. The guide says that is should be 0.38V to 0.58V. What would cause the voltage to be at 5V on the sensor wire instead of .38-.56?

I just got done doing some of these tests so here may help.

Continuity in forward wasn't what the guide said for me either. I believe it said a and c but I think mine was A and B.

The orange and black wire you're talking about, mine was at 5.03 volts so yes you may have an issue there.

I just rechecked my key switch.

In forward, A and D.
In reverse, A and C.
In R/N/F, A and B.

Is this the same with yours? Trying to rule the switch out.

The issue has been resolved. It was a bad brake pedal position sensor that was causing the issue. Thanks to all that contributed.
