Default G1 intermittent fuel pump

Replaced fuel pump because no fuel expelled when line was removed from carb, changed to fuel filter to a clear one so as to see fuel flow, engine will try to run but just doesn't quite get there, muffler gets warm, so there is spark, Does anyone think worn crank seals might cause a weak pulse to make the fuel pump intermittent , or what else can I check , appreciate any help, Have not checked compression yet, no gage but getting one

When I replaced my pump, it took a LONG time to get fuel flowing. 1st- Make sure your line is not obstructed from the bottom of the tank, all the way to the carb, any and all clamps are tight, and the hose is in good shape. I used a turkey baster to prime my line with gas. Good luck..

Spray fuel directly into the end of the carb while the engine is cranking. If it starts and runs then you have a fuel issue. I just buy a cheap $1 spray bottle. If it won't start and run on fresh gasoline, you have another issue.

after many attempt to figure this out , and conversation with Baker cart supplies in Franklin, PA, The problem ended up being a clogged muffler, proceeded to burn it out with kerosene and built a fire in my fire ring and set muffler right on the fire, Runs like a champ now, Thank You Mike Baker of Baker cart supplies in Franklin Pa , good people
