Tie rod and end recommendation
I’ve got a “Frankencart,” an ACG cart built with some DS/Prescedent and proprietary parts.
I need to replace my tie rod ends, I went and ordered new ones from the company but they ended up sending me used ones and now they are not returning my calls, likely they have gone out of business. At this point I might as well replace the entire rod and ends. Does anybody have any idea what might be a suitable replacement for my current tie rod and the ends. The entire length measures 26 inches and the rod itself measures 20 inches with about 3 inches for either end. The ball stud end is a little larger than the DS ball stud. Does anyone have any suggestions of carts or ATVs that may have tie rods and ends that would work? Thanks |

Re: Tie rod and end recommendation
I may have found a solution. . .
10L0L Golf Cart Tie Rod Assembly Fits EZGO Gas & Electric Golf Carts, Years 2001 & Up.(26.44 Inch) The length is right. My only concern is the diameter of the ball studs. Hopefully the taper towards the end will give a snug fit. |

Re: Tie rod and end recommendation
No matter what they did with assembling the cart, the DS and Precedent tie rod ends (entire front end parts for that matter) are not interchangeable.

Yes that I know. The cart steering rack appears to be a DS knockoff, other parts (systems) are Precedent.
I may have found a replacement tie rod and ends of the proper size. The ball studs measure the same diameter so I may be in business. |

Re: Tie rod and end recommendation
20" is the standard length for a Club Car DS tie rod.
Contact David at Revolution golf cars in GA, I am sure he can get you the tie rod with or without the ball joints. Aflyer |

Re: Tie rod and end recommendation
Just got off the phone with David. Great guy! Unfortunately he didn’t have my odd sized part, but was very helpful nonetheless.
If you need any parts don’t hesitate to give him a call. Got to love that Southern Hospitality. |
