Question Flywheel Issue on 1985 Club Car

The starter on my gas club car will turn the drive clutch but not the flywheel. Any suggestion? Thanks

If I understand correctly, when your drive clutch turns your flywheel doesn't?
Look behind the drive clutch and see if the crankshaft is turning when the clutch turns.
Can you turn the flywheel by hand?

Thanks for responding to my problem. Yes I can turn the flywheel by hand and crankshaft will turn with the flywheel and the drive clutch will turn but then it will stop turning and the flywheel and crankshaft will still turn. Thanks again.

I believe you need to remove your clutch and clean the tapered crankshaft and the inside taper of the clutch and reassemble.

Thanks for the info. I got it figured out. The bolt, on the end of the crankshaft, that holds the drive clutch on, was loose.
