Myself,I would sort out the rear width before cutting the front. I found new offset rims for 1/2 the price of a spacer also.

update ! rear swing arm welded and set back in to check space front end unbolted and cutting my blaster frame to weld into front. pics coming soon.

more and a couple of my 25hp im grinding the crank from 1 1/8 to 1" so i can use my clutch. I'm going to remove the gov and install some valve shims while im at it.

Looks like your going to have a pretty nice lift on there. One thing I noticed on mine was after lifting there was NO clearance under the rear axle, I rolled the axle tubes over and put the swingarm on top, also you have to swap the brake plates.

here is my completed but not yet run 25hp kohler that i just went through im planning on using the club car rearend i got with reverse and running it with the clutch on the pass side and turning the engine around also
