Gas cart won't start

We have an E-Z-Go cart (age unknown) which has a re-start problem. It starts fine when cold but then after using for 5-10 minutes and pushing the accelerator there is no re-start. Nothing happens. It appears to be an electrical issue but I could use help in troubleshooting. Thanks in advance.

Look below glove compartment on riders side if there is a tag there then the last 2 numbers of the model # is the year , age means everything in tracking down these problems , some of the same parts are in different places . if there is no tqag there then look around inside the engine box .

The cart's serial number ends in 05. There is another number above it on the plate: K399.

The last 2 digits of the manufacturing code tells the year, I believe your code is the k399 number. That should be Nov. 3 1999 if i'm thinking right about it. I would guess either a solenoid or micro switch is causing the start up problems. The service tech manual has a trouble shooting guide that may help you with this.
