Default Transaxle/Spline help

Hey cart world,
I’m hoping I can get some input on how I should go about replacing my input spline in the transaxle. I’m replacing the motor and spline because they’re both worn and grinding even after using the grommet. My question is, do I need to take both sides of the transaxle off the frame to get the spline out; or can I just take off the passenger side and slide it apart to get the spline to slide past the gear? Any input to save me some time would be appreciated, thanks guys.

You will probably have to remove the whole rear end from the suspension bar and separate it. I’m not sure you could separate it with in the cart.

The input shaft is easy to remove but the bearings may be pressed onto it.

I just recently did a rear end/ brake job an a YDRE.

You have to completely remove and disassemble the rear end. Not

I suggest putting the wheel back on the left side and stand the whole axle up on the wheel, then disassemble. Drain oil while still in cart.
