Rear or hub
Hi guys,
I hope someone here can help me out. I have a 2008 yahmaha drive. When I was riding it the rear (right side) started making a loud banging noise as well as a scraping noise. I put the cart in toww and towed it back. When I was back I duplicated the problem to see if I could locate the problem. While trying to duplicate it was almost as if the tires were doing a hole shot in the stones. After a few attempts the banging scraping noise stopped and left me with what sounds like something spinning inside. Has anyone else experienced this and what could be the problem? Thanks in advance! |

Rear or hub
A 2008 YDRE doesn’t have hubs.
Does your axle have a white sticker? If so, there’s a notoriously soft gear in there that is often prone to failure. Look up YDRE white tag on the forum. It might be your problem. Club Car DS driver’s club #59 |
