Re: YDRE electrical problem
Should I replace controller with OEM Moric controller, or replace with another? I have the standard motor. I was thinking of getting a Alltrax XCT-48300-YDRE 300 Amp Speed Controller. Seems to be a straight swap, no adapters required.
Thoughts? |

Re: YDRE electrical problem
Even the 300a Alltrax will get you more speed and torque than the stock controller, go Alltrax.

Re: YDRE electrical problem
I have some good news. The cart is going!!
The problem wasn't even the controller. I pulled the main loom out and found a broken wire at a join where 1 wire joins to 4 wires. Re-terminated the wire, and voila! Cart is running good as new. Kudos to yamaha's build quality, the only problem in the entire cart after being completely covered in water for a couple of days was a broken wire. Controller is fine, motor is fine. Thanks cgtech for taking the time to help me out. |
