Default Newby with a ?

I have an 86 g2 gas and just did the governor bypass on it. Now i noticed a puddle under the rear end the two times I have driven it since. Gear oil is coming out of the vent hose on top of the rear end. Any suggestions?

A small amount of dripping is OK. May be a good time to change the gear oil.

Because of the higher speeds and heat, maybe building more pressure and blowing out but I would bet more on being over full. Do an oil change and add a longer/higher vent tube.
I did it but we run in some water sometimes.
