Default MPG.

Just got my G8 back together and was just pondering, how far(miles per gallon or how many hours of driving) can you get out of a tank of gas. Has anyone ever estimated how far a golf car can go on a tank of gas?

Dried my carb out, and I put 1 gallon of gas in. Ran it till she quit, and I got 38mpg out of my 350 E-Z-GO with a lift in and 23x11x12 tires on it.

My cousin also kept running after that on an RXV... He got 52MPG out of a 2008 RXV!! It was a stock RXV.

If mine burned any less gas I would have to stop periodically and let some out of the tank to keep it from overflowing. How far can you go in a golf cart so that mileage becomes an issue?

Yeah, I let a little out of mine once a week.

I should know this and have spec sheet info to back it up, but I'm old and forgot more than I remember, but here's what I use to tell customers. Let say a round of golf is 5 miles, and you should be able to go 5 to 7 18 hole rounds per gallon. You have a 5 to 6 gallon fuel tank. So lets take the conservative numbers. 5 x 5=25. 25 x 5=125 miles on a tank. Your 30 mile trip could be done 2 times on a tank. Wow I even confuse myself sometimes. Hope this helped Dave
