The CLUTCHES are the CVT (continuously variable transmission) the sheave are a part of them. The common name got stuck to them because the primary does engage and disengage acting as a clutch.
Absolutely, hence the reason 2 people are better than 1. Clutches on a stock cart very very rarely come apart. Belts are more common.

Taking the bed off completely is even safer as it allows you a clear view of everything from off the the side out of the line of fire.

I overgreased a secondary once and reved up the engine and got a faceful.

So, obviously use common sense.

Thanks for the clarifications, everybody! So, "worn clutch buttons" refers to wear in the two halves of the sheaves where the belt runs, right (i.e., the "pulleys" are worn)?

I'll give the "clean and lube" a try and report back.

So, there are supposed to be some kind of wear buttons on one of the opposing faces of those ramps? Is that what the manual calls "shoe, ramp" PN JN6-E7688-00-00?

I think you can look at g-22a part breakdown also should all be the same.
Your right it is. All Dana rear ends with that secondary would be the same. Thanks for the good eye Craig.
