Not to steal thread but my G1 has been siting inside for a week now and I noticed a pool of oil under it. Looks like its coming from top of oil pump what would cause this?? How to fix this or just replace..

Check your oil lines carefully to be sure one isn't cracked or loose at the fitting. If it is the pump leaking, I am not aware of any rebuild parts to fix the pump. You can only replace it or remove it and start premixing. I can tell you from personal experience the pumps can leak externally but still work and inject oil. Eventually they will either stop working or not inject enough oil and you will burn up your engine.
In your post on the other thread, you mentioned a screw on the top of the pump. That is a bleeder screw and should have a gasket under it to seal it. Maybe that is leaking? |
