Vibration after replacing drive belt
I have an 89 gas club car. I noticed a large crack in the drive belt so I thought I should replace it before it breaks. I put the new belt on and now have a bad vibration at about 3/4 speed. It feels like it is coming from the rear. Its not constant. It is like there is a bad spot on the belt so i talked to the company that i ordered it from and they sent me another one and have the same problem. I put the old belt back on there is no vibration at all. Anyone have any suggestions.

Re: Vibration after replacing drive belt
I'm not a expert, but my thought would be that being the old belt went bad and new ones u have a problem with. I would look at alignment of ur clutches. Maybe thats y the old belt got the crack cause the clutchs r not true to each other. Thats where I would start. If u tried 2 new belts and problem is not there when u reinstall old one, then my thought 2 new belts r good and not the issue at hand.
