Default cool idea for a fuel cell

I found a crack in my fuel cell, and also was having problems with hooking up the pulse pump to an ATV motor, so I took a military fuel can, welded a bung in the bottom for a petcock from a Yamaha, and mounted it to the side of my cart like an old Willys. I even reused the stock fuel cell retaining straps to help keep it on the cheap!Came out pretty cool! It even comes off really easy to fill it at the station, or top the kids off, if need be.

Pretty cool lakeside. Do you still use the pulse pump too or does it have enough gravity to feed the carb? BTW I used a 3 gallon flat tank with the top mounted fitting made to go in a small boat. I had to use a pulse pump with it though.

I made sure it was high enough for gravity feed. Even used the stock petcock from the Yamaha Tri-Moto I butchered for my creation!

Years ago a friend of mine had an old Club Car carryall that he used an outboard tank on. it worked great and was easy to remove so he could use it in the boat too!
