Default ezgo st 2+2 engine problems

My ezgo w/robin 350 engine runs ok till it get warm
then sputters home and backfires after i go around the block
Just started yesterday while cruising in the neighborhood.
has anyone else experience this problem and what is the cure?

Hello Jason,

- If there is a choke, check if it opens fully.
- Clean all the Carbtubes
- Check if the carb is fully leakproof, so it doesn't pull air between Carb and engine.
- Check fuelpump if it has enough pressure and check all the gas / vacuumhoses.

You also might want to adjust the valves.

the cart is 2mnths old prob last yrs model but new.
cleaned the carb and runs good thanks guys
do you still think i need valve adjst?

I just got the ezgo st 2+2, and have had a month...new 2008 11 hp...Anyway somedays it cranks and others I'm stranded...1 time it didn't cut off...any advice on what to do if it won't start?

Take them to your local dealer and have the serviced under warranty
