Engine Swap

I have a 2004 DS Gas Cart that has major water damage. Will the parts from a 2006 Gas Precedent swap over to the 2004.

I am actually wanting to swap eveything over from the engine to all components due to corrosion.

I can't tell you if the stuff will swap over easily, but why not just use the Precedent?
