Jerk at slow speed
On my 99 regen 2, when I try to ease along I get a jerk like something is loosing connection, then getting it back does it when trying to go slow with or without load.
Batteries are good full charge 50+ volts. I just took them out of my 03 iq cart and put new ones in it. The 99 needed batteries so I put the new ones in my 03. I pulled the v glide and cleaned the contacts and adjusted the contact and travel of the wiper arm. Just put all new 4 ga welding cable through out. Rechecked cables clean and tight. I removed the drivers side solenoid earlier to save cable length and do away with speed sensor. The only thing I can think of is maybe the micro switch in the v glide, or something about the controller that does not like low speed. No click from solenoid when it does it, just jerk. Any ideals???? |

Re: Jerk at slow speed
You may have a resisor or two that's out of range on your V-glide. You could replace them with new but you're still stuck with a 5 position throttle unit. An AM293201 MCOR4 conversion kit should fix the problem and smooth the entire throttle range out in the process.

Re: Jerk at slow speed
I think I may be experiencing the same issue. I recently purchased a 2011 Club Car Precedent with 6 new 8v Trojan batteries. Everything works fine except I feel a slight "surging" which is especially noticeable at low speeds (less noticeable at higher speeds).
mrgolf, does this sound like the same issue you are experiencing? TahoeDawgZ71, where might I find an AM293201 MCOR4 conversion kit? |
