I just do not like the look of the Precedent or the RXV.
That was why I went this route in the first place.

How about the base motor upgrade from Plum Quick? Only $225 and says you'll get 25% more power and torque. Any truth to that and is it plug and play, or do I then have to change a bunch of other things I the process to get those gains?
If by "down here" you mean Florida, that would explain the price. Everything down there is high. I have clients who live in FL that drive up here and have me build them a cart and then transport it back down there and they still save over $1000 in price. Crazy pricing structures there.
I have talked to the plum quick guys on the phone before, and I have an account with them. THey are knowledgeable and polite, and their products have a good reputation.

I see, you spent all your money on the bling and forgot all about the muscle.

Nope. I actually haven't purchased it yet. They made it but I refused to take it because it's not what they told me it was going to be. It was very bumpy and felt like it was somewhat hesitating. Plus the "new" extended roof was scratched, the roof rails were scratched, the "new" windshield was scratched and didn't fit correctly, and the guy swore it would be faster when it was completed. But when I went to look at the finished cart he said "oh sorry, it's already at the highest speed".

Not at all happy with the place.

Where are you located. I know some cart sales locations in several southeastern states.
