95 club car 48 volt speeds-up then slows down
I got a 48 volt regen no tow or run switch that runs find then it slows to a crawl. I checked under the seat and the wire coil with a green wire on each end was glowing bright red. anyone know what might cause that.

I know very little about your model cart, but if it is regen the coil may be carrying the load a solenoid should be carrying. If so the solenoid is not working right.

Re: 95 club car 48 volt speeds-up then slows down
You have a Regen 1 with a stuck (or failing) dynamic braking solenoid. You can replace it, or bypass it. Per THIS THREAD.
