Gas DS jerks after half throttle
Hey,
I have a 2002 gas powered Club car DS. when I press the gas pedal it is fine until I get to about half throttle. After that the cart jerks and it feels like its changing gears. If you wait and baby it when it warms up you can hear the engine slow down and then it works fine. After you stop and let it cool a bit it does the same thing again. I have cleaned the carburator out but this didn't fix the problem. Any ideas? |

You're sure it's not the main drive belt jerking? Can you duplicate the issue in maintenance mode (running the motor in neutral)?

Yes it still does the same thing in maintenance mode. I'm sure it's not the belt. Could it be the speed sensor?
