2006 Precedent replace Igniter - how?
2006 Precedent cuts out occasionally for no apparent reason. Suspect the igniter is bad. How do I get to it?

Re: 2006 Precedent replace Igniter - how?
It's on the drivers side of the engine, under that big metal full shroud. Not much fun to get at. Can usually get it without pulling the engine entirely - but just barely. Exhaust has to come off, engine at least loose in the cradle to get the bottom bolts out of that shroud. Plastic fan cover has to come off separately because there is not quite enough room to get it out still attached to the main shroud.
