I'm betting you have corrosion in the harness. Causing stray voltage to bleed I to other places.

Okay had the wife work the key and I checked voltage on the brake plug! Switched to R and got 8 volts and starting dropping down to 1 volt with the run/tow switch in run, same in N and F, switched run/tow to tow and got 3 volts dropping to 1 with the key switch in N, nothing in R and F.

So is it the controller or wire harness?
I guess next would be to ohm out the wire harness?

I would check the wiring first like cgtech said.

Finally found someone local with a scanner! Controller went bad! Pack voltage in and .6 volts out. Needed batteries too. Traded salvage in on a UTV that is tax deductible. Thanks for everyone's help I really do appreciate the guys that help out on forums.

I'm glad you got something to use. Too bad for the RXV though. I wonder what they are gonna do with it? Old dead-Danaher RXVs deserve an upgrade for a new lease on life. LOL

I bought a flood cart RXV that was missing the batteries and other parts for $500. I upgraded it to a Curtis controller, put in what was missing, and its back in use. I recently replaced the failing 2012 batteries I had put in it, with a set of March 2007 batteries that I recently rejuvinated with one of my Battery Smacker units.
