Smile Should I buy this 2004 Club Car? *PICS*

I've been looking for a Club car for quite some time now and this one was just posted.

2004 48v Club Car Ds.
6 8 volt Powertron batteries less than a month old.
New lift kit, new tires, and also he says new "extra motor". He said it goes 22-25mph.

He said it has 2 motors on it, the new upgraded motor and the stock motor. Is this common? Thoughts on this?

His ad description says:
"This golf cart is like new. Installed new lift kit 2 months ago. Also put brand new 6 8v batteries about a month ago, along with new tires. This golf cart has side curtains, turn signals, mirrors and horn. Also it comes with extra motor that can get this cart go up to 25 MPH."

Anyway, he's asking $2,800 which I thought was a steal of a price.

Let me know what you guys think, thanks in advance!!!

Also here's a picture of the batteries.

It's a good deal.

I'd see if he'd take $2500 first though. The blue motor is an aftermarket D&D motor (good company with a good reputation) probably a speed motor seeing that he gets 25mph on this cart with it being a Series drive. It sounds like he's including the stock motor also with the sale which is awesome (you could sale that and recoup some of your cost if it works or keep it as a spare).

Lift kit looks new, tires look new, batteries `look` new and cables look to be in good condition from the pics. I say good deal.

Thank you for the info! I definitely plan on getting him down to $2500.

From the way it seemed when I talked to him was that the stock motor was still installed with the D&D motor. Is this possible?

Thanks again for the insight!

Yeah I figured it was a good deal. I haven't seen anything this low since I've been looking.

I bought it! It's so awesome. The guy had paperwork on everything he had done in the past months, $2200 total.

Ended up paying the full price but at $2800 that's still such a steal. Already took it out for a couple miles and it rides so smooth.

Thanks again for the insight!

Great looking cart. Looks better than the first pictures showed. I think you got it for about 1000.00 less than what it’s worth.
