2002 DS power won't recover after going up hill
I have a 2002 DS that will not recover speed after going up a hill. I just put brand new batteries in it so I'm pretty sure it's not that (could still be wiring). The cart takes off great, very happy with that speed. Going up hills it slows down to a slow crawl. I'll stop the cart and go again and it's still going slow. Seems to recover if I park it for a few minutes. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a classic battery issue. Load test the batteries. Connect your voltmeter to the pack and drive up the steepest hill you can find. What does the voltage drop to? |

Your batteries are no where seasoned in yet. It will take 30 to as much as 50 charges to get the plates saturated and up to full strength.
Just keep driving it and charging it, just do not go below 50% SOC. |
