Re: Honda v twin Exhaust too Loud
That is a thought but do love my hood! I do like the set up on it now and like the idea of stuffing baffling material in it do you think that would quit it down? Were could I find the material at? Thanks

Re: Honda v twin Exhaust too Loud
You may want to look into this header/muffler kit made by Strech.
Bolts in pretty nice. Just use header wrap to keep the heat down or it will cook the wood under your seat |

If memory serves, it's actually a shortened workhorse. To quiet the muffler you can do alot of things, You can put an insert upstream on the muffler Car Chemistry makes some good ones. or you can put them in the tips.to reflect the sound back into the muffler. http://www.carchemistry.com/shop/ind...duct_list&c=11 Or, you can replace the muffler with one from a late model doge Neon. Very similar in design and size, but much quieter any good muffler shop could install. You can also try a resonator before the muffler to quiet the drone. I have a an HP-2 on one of my carts. http://www.hushpower.com/product/31/...22+-+409S.html Helps alot. |

Re: Honda v twin Exhaust too Loud
Hello Gone 14,
Another possibility is a bikeexhaust. Look for the right dimensions, so not to small. To small is dangerous for the valves. (Heat) And this was my one hundred post......... Benno |
