Just a thought; but thought I may get some better heads thinking. While the switch was reversed; is it possible the brakes adjusted themselves too tight? Older cars, the rear brake shoes self adjusted when the car was in reverse.

yep, they did but still the same results, wheels freely just no brakes. not a bad suggestion tho!

how do i check the motor brushes? i took all bolts out and motor spins 360 degrees on pumpkin, do i need a puller or something? also A2 stud spins around when trying to tighten. i do not think that is normal the others dont spin

If the A2 stud is spinning around you have a broken wire internally and that is why the motor will no longer turn under power.

put it back together, drove around a bit before the storm came thru, gonna check pack charge and some other readings. still need to know how to pull motor housing off! motor is not original it was upgraded back in 1998 to 3.5 hp.
