In theory yes. I have never tried it but the DCS F&R is just a couple of micro switches ... should not be 2 hard to figure it out.

yes you can. You would have to use the PDS rocker to control 2 relays. Actually would be quite simple to wire up.

Re: dcs to pds f and r swtich
ok how do i do it. this is what i have done i had a old dcs laying around. i have cut it and streched it 28 inches more so iv made a limo out of it. now im determining witch way to go.if i go series i would need a new complete wiring harness to switch it over. i also want to go 48 volts. pds f and r switch would be easyer. series would be better. need advise witch way to go. just building to ride around not going in the woods just streets. but want a little faster cart then stock

Re: dcs to pds f and r swtich
ok, the forward and reverse on a DCS is controlled by 2 Micros....
Easiest way to do this would be to take 2 48 volt relays (the kind found in most club car chargers), clip the micros off and hook them to the load side of the relay (1 relay per micro). run a 48V ground to each relay and then run the activation wire to the dash panel (for simplicity call them orange and Blue). run the orange abd blue to the appropriate side of the 3 way rocker in the dash and run a supply line from the switched side of the keyswitch to the center post of the rocker...... Instant PDS conversion of the F&R on a DCS...... |

Re: dcs to pds f and r swtich
Leave it DCS. Run 400 amps 48v and MONITOR BATTERY LEVELS, DCS produces much more torque than PDS and more speed than series.... you just have to watch the voltage levels.

Re: dcs to pds f and r swtich
I believe he plans to leave it DCS but because of the stretch, he has to modify the F&R to work.....
but you know I still hate DCS carts lmao..... |
