My Marathon is alive!
I got a Marathon for next to nothing( there was reason for it too) and I've been putting it back together (new battery tray, weld up the frame, new cables and so on) and I just got my motor put back in after PQ waved their magic wand over it. I got it out on the road for a speed run and going out up a slight grade GPS'ed it at 16MPH and coming back at 18MPH. I happy!
Oh and I can't say enough good things about Carson, Ricky and Robby at Plum Quick. They are SUPER folks. |

Re: My Marathon is alive!
Scotty, after I ran it a while I checked my cables and they were cool as a cucumber. I wish I could say the same for the FNR switch. It wasn't so hot that I couldn't keep my hand on it but it was a lot warmer than I care for. Will your upgraded cam get warm or do you think mine is fine?

Re: My Marathon is alive!
Colt, while I was there Friday they were discussing someones Bandit upgrade that had what they were thinking was a color code with it. Could that have been your order?

Re: My Marathon is alive!
Thanks Rabbit!
The controller is a reman that says it's 400 amp but it also says that it's 24-36 volt. before I try for any more speed I have to replace a bent front weldment, some sloppy tierod ends and some slop in the steering. Needless to say at 18mph that puppy was scary. Also before speed, THE PINK HAS GOT TO GO! As you can tell from my cables it's gonna have a definite Deere theme. Re: My Marathon is alive!
Gresham that is awesome! I'll be following along with interest and keep the pictures coming. I literally just brought home a 92 about an hour ago on a deal to good to pass up.
