Re: help with a 85 drive belt size
The HP 2011 is the correct belt for the 85 cart. Some people (myself included) like to fit a slightly shorter belt as this lowers the gear ratio giving a slightly better acceleration and hill climbing ability. If you want to go down that route the belt would be HP3004 which is 7/8th inch shorter, and yes that 7/8th does make a difference.

Re: help with a 85 drive belt size
I took my old one to Advance Auto, they put on their machine and it worked out the length and they sold me a generic. I expect all auto stores have something similar.

Re: help with a 85 drive belt size
Mark, Strangely enough I do believe that the 2 stroke EZGO belt is 1 inch shorter than the 4 stroke belt. Just to be safe I suggest that you wrap some string around your belt and measure the string to see how long your belt is. If you find it is 46 inches then the HP2011 is the one for you.

Re: help with a 85 drive belt size
Mark, there should be enough slack for you to pull it onto the edge of the driven clutch and then just wind it off. If it is tight then get a buddy to push on the cart to spin the clutch. Getting the new one on is a reversal of the procedure.
