Default Ezgo st350 Motor turning but belt slipping

The motor on my Ezgo st350 2000 turns and runs fine but the belt that attaches to the rear axle just doesnt spin like it doesn't grip onto the part attached to the motor. Can some please tell me what to do to mAke the belt spin so the cart can move again?

You will probably get more hits in the "Gas Ezgo" section but we can try and help you out

Have you checked your belt deflection? Is it a centrifugal style clutch? If so there should be shims on the inside of the pulley, to allow the sheaves to move closer together and tighten up te belt. If it's anything like a 4Wheeler.

What motor do you have?

I have the st350 motor it's like I think I see how it's suppose to spin or whatever but it's just sitting on a smooth metal area instead of the two plates sitting closer so it spins on them

There are shorter belts available for your cart, it will help with take off, but can hurt the top end...start another thread in the gas section and you will get more help....maybe one of the mods can move this for you as well.
